US stocks closed little changed on Thursday as it helped change gains for technology sector investors ignored weak data on factory activity and a drop in oil prices with caution before the jobs report that will be issued on Friday.
And it ended the Dow Jones industrial average .DJI trading session up 18.42 points or 0.10 percent to 18,419.30 points, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 0.09 points, wider or 0.0 percent, to close at 2170.86 points.
The Nasdaq Composite laced technology shares index was up 13.99 percent, or 0.27 per cent to 5227.21 points.
